Life lately.

Alright. So I still don't have much to report.. Except that we're doing a show-choir! It's going to be a lot of fun:) I don't know if you've ever seen Glee before. But we're doing some songs from that and a bunch of other musical theater songs. So... I'm excited.. :)

I went to the Beaverton dance last Saturday! That was SO fun! I had a bunch of friends there, but mainly hung out with my friend Hannah. We had a Blast! lol We would do so many random and weird things.... hehehe:) Like screaming into opposite sides oh a fan... lol :)

I'm learning a song called "Spell" by Marie Digby. Its super pretty and i love it. I'm going to sing it at my friends senior graduation:) Also right now i am a HUGE fan of Sara Bareilles. I LOVE<3<3HER! lol Like her songs Bottle it up, Gravity, King of Anything and of course Love Song. Ahhh... I love it. :)

Auditions!

Today we, Me, McKenna, Lindsey and Lauryn had Auditions for a showchior! It was very fun and I think I actually did an OK job:) I sang the song "Taking Chances" - Glee Version, and My monologue was called "CSI Neverland". So all in all i thought it went pretty well :) (Although..... I woke up this morning and I could barely even talk.... So I still have a really bad sore throat.) - Which kinda ruined some of my audition. :/ Oh well:)

Life has been actually going pretty good. So that's awesome.

Oh. If i've never said this.... I love converse... Just sayin':)

I'm sorry for not writing for awhile. It's been one hectic new year...

So lately I've been going to seminary at 6:00am :), Dancing/Singing, 1st Counselor for the Mia Maids (which there are only three... so no secretary... Hmm... ), Composing and Playing Piano, Complicated friend problems.., Trying to teach myself guitar, Academics, Music appreciation class, Fitness class, And an awesome class made by my mom and my Mentor: Mrs. Houlihan. THEY'RE AMAZING!

Anyways.......      So life's super crazy and have a lot going on. But I love it. :):)


OH! AND I have an audition on this Saturday for a Show chior. (Glee:) AHH..  Crazy life.. :):) But I love it.

I...... Am......IN HEAVEN BECAUSE BRACES ARE OFF! - I LOVE having them off. I look... a lot better. In my opinion. It's soooooo weird to look at older pictures and see me, Emmalyn, with the braces on.. I look.... odd.. :):) Just. I love braces being OFF your teeth. Though they did help;)

I think everyone in the world should get out of the box;) - Or just read the Anatomy of Peace. :):)

Ok. Wow. I hate not posting fo ra really long time. :(
Ok. So. Life......

Today is our performance with APA (our end of year christmas musical review thing:) and i have a SORE THROAT! NOOOO!! Bad sore throat. Go away. Now. :P It's not helping me get ready to sing a solo. :/
Hopefully it will be gone by 3:30.... Or the latest 6:30.... :/
It's gotten a lot beter since last night though. I was sneezing/coughing like crazy.... Not good... :/

Last day of seminary was yesterday.. :/ It was the last day of 2010 Seminary! Sad!! Just think.... I was a freshman this January... :/ I hate growing up.


Oh. So after a week of having my braces off my bottom teeth moved a little bit.. :/ So we had to get clear retainers to move them back... They're so annoying! Ahh!

Harry Potter 7 was awesome!!

I really like toffee...

I saw the high-school play like week! It was so awesome! .... a little confusing... but I saw a bunch of my really good friends. :) One of the only reasons I went was cause my friend Hannah ws in it.... But after watching it, it really wasn't worth it just to see her.. Cause she was onstage LITERALLY for like 2 minutes. and didn't say anything.. :)

I love thanksgiving cause I am SO thankful for SO much. I have a wonderful and amazing family that I'm super blessed. I love them so much. and I'm blessed to have friends who love me for who I am and respect me and support me. I'm blessed with a home to come to at the close of day and I'm thankful for the gospel. Especially. And for the knowledge of Jesus Christ. :)

That's why school is an amazing thing. Because you have to opportunity to learn as much as you can in each class. :)

Thanksgiving is coming up and I'm super excited! I'm gonna go to the Turkey Bowl. lol (which, for those of you who don't know, is a football game on thanksgiving day) Even though I really am not good at sports I'm still gonna go. :)
And......... I don't really know what to say..... I'm learning everyday.. Obviously. lol and I love homeschooling. I realized I love it way more then I gave credit for.

Well... Poodle chow.

Sheeeeesh. Why is it I get in the mode of writing a bunch and then quit for a long period of time? What is wrong with me?

Last night was our Voice Recital. I think everyone did a pretty awesome job. :) McKenna was AMAZING. :) I did ok. The only problem was I was concentrating on my words so i missed a note :/ ugh. and the songs were not really my style.. But next time will be awesome!!

I saw my friend Mica and Lehi's stake play yesterday! It was cool because I've never seen that play. I was in it in 2008. :) (Annie Get Your Gun) I want to do that play someday again! Except actually get a part.. lol :)


So... I like the weather in Oregon a lot. It's my favorite EVER. Even though I'm freezing cold.. I love it. :)

Christmas songs are coming back... :)

I don't know about you guys... but we have been singing Christmas songs All week.... Ahhhhhhh..... Shouldn't we be singing thanksgiving songs? Like "For The Beauty Of The Earth"?

So. My parents, Lindsey and Lauryn are in disneyland (Lucky dogs) and my aunt Tracy is chillin' with us for the week. :) (She basically rocks. :)  ) But yeah :)

I love my brothers Samuel and James. :) They are adorable.... But little devils..... No joke. :)

Crashed.

We got in a car crash. Flipped totally over in a ditch.

I have one sore Gluteus Maximus. :)

So on saturday at my Musical Theater class we did some leaps and we had to do a two Sashes a step then leap and fall into a crouched position.... And I guess i'm not as in shape as I thought I was.. Cause the next day I was SO sore... and I'm still sore.... :/

Tomorrow I'm singing in a funeral... Yikes. :/ I don't really know the person whos passed away.... :)

This week is our Halloween performance! I am so excited! I'll post some more about that after it has actually happened... :)

Doesn't everyone love Tomato soup..? Especially when It's been raining hard outside since yesterday morning.. :)

Ok. So my Compositions are going great! I'm starting a blog for them actually. I'm not going to tell you the address until its done though.. hehehe. :)

Yesterday for FHE we did our 72 hour kits. (My clothes were so small!! Good thing we did that. :)
And today we have Musical Theater and Voice Lessons!
In Voice Lessons I'm singing two songs. ("Scarborough Fair" and "Someone Else's Story") They're really fun! The only thing I don't like is they're both classical... But that's a good thing right? :)

In Musical Theater we're working on Halloween songs such as "The Monster Mash" and "This Is Halloween" for our Halloween performance. Fuuuun.. :)

Yesterday we had Contemporary dance for the first time... WOW. I loved it! I'm so sore now.. But it's awesome! Also it's really cool to see that i'm actually starting to progress in dancing after a couple years.. I love it. :)

Today I had TJYC. It was awesome as usual. :) and My Mom came today! (I love her so much.. I'm so blessed to have a mother who loves and supports me... And she's so incredibly smart! It was cool cause one of my friends in the class said my mom should write a book... I do too. :)

Tomorrow is going to be an AWESOME day. :)
We have the cast party for "Hello, Dolly!" and we're hosting it at our house. :) It's gonna be crazy though..... more then 80 people... Yikes! :)

Well I might finally get my braces off in a couple months.. :/ So... Some of you.. the next time you'll see me I'll have them off :)
And I've decided that I want to take tons of Pictures when I get them off. So you'll defiantly see me:)

I have to many friends.. I love it. :)
